About the Filmmakers

Philip Paluso

Writer and Director

After helping grow the Fox Broadcasting Network as a promotion executive in Los Angeles, Philip Paluso moved to Indianapolis and began producing award-winning corporate, advertising, and entertainment videos. In 2004, he directed the cameras for Blue Man Group’s “Complex” tour, leading to a multi-platinum DVD. His 2013 documentary, “Wings for Maggie Ray,” won awards and aired on nearly 200 PBS stations. Philip founded Medium Cool Pictures in 2009, producing corporate videos and working on indie and documentary films as a writer, producer, director, editor, and cinematographer.

Amber Maze

Writer and Producer

Amber Maze is an expert in Holocaust education, contemporary genocides, and mass atrocity prevention. As the Director of Strategic Outreach and Communications for the Indianapolis Jewish Community Relations Council, Amber works to provide Holocaust education resources to schools and develop Holocaust remembrance events. As the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Crane Center for Mass Atrocity Prevention, she coordinates with activists, civil society leaders, and atrocity survivors around the world to advocate for sustainable change. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Ball State University and a Master of Arts in Holocaust and Genocide Studies from Stockton University of New Jersey.

Dylan Query

Dylan Query is an international award winning filmmaker & entrepreneur, proudly located in Indiana. Professionally trained at Ball State University, he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Entrepreneurship, & Digital Media Storytelling. Dylan has extensive experience working around the country, working relentlessly with clients to ensure high quality results. Having started his own company in 2015, Query Productions aims to become the premiere video production company in Southern Indiana. Dylan has worked on numerous creative projects including award winning short films and an internationally distributed feature length film. Inspired by the grassroots filmmaking movement in the Midwest, Dylan seeks to aid the growing Hoosier film industry by creating positive production environments and building his network of professionals.

Jamie Kramer

Associate Producer & Marketing Lead

Jamie Kramer is a Hollywood marketing veteran with prior leadership roles at Sony Pictures and Lionsgate. She has spearheaded successful campaigns for major franchises, including the Spider-Man films, Bond and Jumanji. Known for her strategic collaborations with industry giants such as Amazon, Google, Meta, and TikTok, Jamie has built numerous results-driven, first-to-market activations. Jamie holds an MFA from the University of Southern California’s Peter Stark Producing Program and a BS in Marketing from the University of Illinois. Beyond her professional achievements, she is a storyteller at heart, driven by empathy for people and a steadfast commitment to serving others. She believes that everyone’s story matters, and the art of how we tell them has the power to change perspectives.

Ken Scott

Narrator

Ken Scott is a veteran voice actor and narrator with more than two decades of experience across film, television, and broadcast. His work ranges from national campaigns for brands like Apple and Virgin Mobile to narration for PBS and independent cinema. He is known for bringing clarity, depth, and emotional resonance to complex subject matter.

Ken’s narration for this documentary reflects his belief that stories of history deserve to be told with honesty, restraint, and respect. Working from his professional studio in Indianapolis and with the guidance of some of the industry’s most respected coaches, he continues to refine his craft with the goal of serving both the story and its audience.
